Welcome to the resources page for the Coffee & Booze (C&B) Competition part of The DiGiTiTiON.
Glitter Cat’s DiGiTiTiON is 100% free and competitors will be supplied with all equipment and supplies needed to successfully compete, including a pre-paid debit card for ingredients or materials. The DiGiTiTiON is for marginalized coffee professionals to find a safe, competitive, and quirky atmosphere and community through competition.

In the Coffee & Booze competition, competitors will recreate a classic cocktail using sponsored coffee, sponsored alcohol, and ingredients from a pre-approved list. They will pair the cocktail with food from another pre-approved list and write out their recipe and pairing to be judged anonymously. They will then record a seven minute presentation in which they serve their cocktail and food pairing. Competitors will be judged on clarity of recipe, taste evaluation, and creativity of classic cocktail recreation and presentation.

THE DiGiTiTiON’s number one goal is accessibility. We are committed to working directly with you to make any accommodation necessary for you to be able to apply for and ultimately compete in the DiGiTiTiON. Examples include: competing in a language other than spoken English or technology and or physical accommodations.

TIMELINE
Week of October 12 - Mandatory digital two hour Competitor & Judges meeting
October 30 - Finalists will receive equipment, supplies, swag, and materials to the provided shipping address.
October 30 to November 9 - Develop presentations, drinks, and recipes
November 9 - Recipes and videos due to Glitter Cat
November 16-21 - Get your popcorn popped! New competition video released daily!
November 22nd - Instagram live announcement of the winners!
This is a new, innovative, and exciting event for all of us and we ask for transparency, patience, and feedback as we go along this competition process with you! We might run into shipping delays or technology issues and that is almost guaranteed to happen. If such issues arise we will reach out to you as soon as possible and ask that you do the same for us.
